Customizing your User Name

• After downloading the app, go to PROFILE and tap on "GUEST" to type in a new User Name and hit "Done"
   

Adding friends

• After creating your unique User Name, go to FRIENDS and tap on "INVITE FRIENDS" 

• Type in your friend's User Name and hit "Done".  An in-app message is then sent to your friend to accept your friendship invitation.
   

Playing a match

• From the Home or Subject screen, choose to either challenge a friend or a random opponent to a ClashMates match

• Each match is comprised of five questions, with the last worth a 2X points bonus

• ADVANCED Level - questions within this level are based on the Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum within the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and US Government & Politics

  • To earn points, you must answer correctly with a 60-second time limit with the faster you answer correctly, the more bonus points you can earn

  • The ADVANCED scoring system is as follows:

    • Answer correctly within 10 seconds = 45 points​

    • Answer correctly between 10 to 20 seconds = 40 points

    • Answer correctly between 20 to 30 seconds = 35 points

    • Answer correctly between 30 to 40 seconds = 30 points

    • Answer correctly between 40 to 50 seconds = 25 points

    • Answer correctly between 50 to 60 seconds = 20 points

    • Incorrect answers = 0 points
       

• INTRO Level - questions within this level are based on a middle-school level curriculum for the subjects of  Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and US Government & Politics

  • To earn points, you must answer correctly with a 20-second time limit with the faster you answer correctly, the more bonus points you can earn

  • The INTRO scoring system is as follows:

    • Answer correctly within 4 seconds = 18 points​

    • Answer correctly between 4 to 8 seconds = 15 points

    • Answer correctly between 8 to 12 seconds = 12 points

    • Answer correctly between 12 to 16 seconds = 10 points

    • Answer correctly between 16 to 20 seconds = 8 points

    • Incorrect answers = 0 points

PowerUps 

• When in a match, players will have an option to deploy a POWERUP to help correctly answer a question.

  • SCISSORS - removes two wrong answers​

  • ELIMINATE ONE - removes one wrong answer

  • ON THE EDGE - pick two answers

• PowerUps can be acquired through the ClashMates' Shop by spending ClashMates coins or when received for free as a daily reward.​
   

Boosts 

• Prior to playing a match, players can activate a BOOST to accelerate their progress within the game.

  • TIMELESS - automatically receive the max score on each correct answer during your next five matches​

  • PERSONAL GROWTH - doubles your earned XP for your next five matches

  • SAFETY NET - earn 10 points for each incorrect answer for your next five matches

• Boosts can be acquired through the ClashMates' Shop by spending ClashMates coins or when received for free as a daily reward.

Shop

• Within the ClashMates SHOP, players can purchase or acquire for free ClashMates coins. These coins are used to purchase PowerUps and Boosts for enhancing a player's game play. 
   

Daily Rewards

• Each day players can collect a complimentary reward including packages of ClashMates coins, PowerUps, and Boosts. Go the REWARDS tab to collect your daily goodie bag
